University Hosts Meeting for Competitive Scholarship Applicants for the Academic Year 2023-2024

Al Janad University for Science and Technology hosted a meeting today between university management and applicants for full and partial competitive scholarships for the upcoming academic year. These scholarships are a part of the university's commitment to serving the community and supporting high school graduates in their educational pursuits
Dr. Amin Al-Haidari, the Secretary-General, warmly greeted the students as they arrived at the university, extending his best wishes for success in the comparative exams. These exams serve as the primary criterion for obtaining full or partial scholarships based solely on academic merit. Dr. Al-Haidari underscored the pivotal role of the university in shaping the individual and collective futures of students, while also emphasizing its contribution to national development
Eng. Waleed Al-Jaour, the Director of Human Resources, pointed out that the university annually offers these competitive scholarships as part of its social responsibility. These scholarships provide outstanding students with the encouraging opportunity to pursue higher education across various academic programs, completely free of charge
During their visit, the applicants for competitive scholarships had the chance to explore Al Janad's medical, engineering, and technical laboratories, as well as the university facilities, to familiarize themselves with the infrastructure of Al Janad and get an initial idea about the educational and campus life
Over the past three years, Al Janad University has offered a total of forty competitive scholarships, both full and partial, to outstanding high school graduates, in conjunction with the Yemeni people's celebrations of the national holidays in September, October, and November. This has become an annual tradition at the university for the sixth consecutive year
