Dr. Mohyeddine Al-Qubati, President of Al-Janad University for Science and Technology, paid an official visit to the Arab Academy for Administrative, Financial and Banking Sciences at its Aden branch, located in Yemen’s interim capital. The visit aimed to enhance academic and scientific collaboration between the two institutions. He was received by Dr. Murad Al-Nashmi, Director of the Academy’s Aden branch.
Accompanying Dr. Al-Qubati were Prof. Dr. Abdulqawi Noman, Dean of Academic Affairs, and Dr. Samir Al-Asbahi, Dean of the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center.
The meeting focused on fostering academic cooperation, with particular emphasis on postgraduate programs and scientific research. Discussions also explored opportunities for exchanging academic and administrative expertise, as well as launching joint training and professional development initiatives to strengthen institutional capacities on both sides.
Dr. Al-Qubati expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and reaffirmed Al-Janad University’s commitment to building partnerships with leading Arab academic institutions. He emphasized that such collaborations contribute significantly to enriching educational experiences for students and faculty and to advancing the broader academic community.
Both parties highlighted the importance of sustained engagement in advancing higher education, promoting academic quality, and keeping pace with scientific and professional developments across various fields.
Established in 1988, the Arab Academy is a regional institution supporting joint Arab initiatives in education and research. Its branch in Yemen has been active since 2004, while the Academy’s main headquarters are located in Cairo, Egypt.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both institutions agreed to maintain ongoing communication and to develop future joint initiatives aimed at advancing knowledge, promoting innovation, and serving societal needs.
Also present at the meeting were Dr. Abdulqader Al-Abbadi, Dean of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, and Mr. Mohammed Abu Sab’ah, Secretary-General of the Academy’s Aden branch.
