Under the auspices of University President Dr. Mohyeddine Al-Qubati, the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center organized a specialized training program titled “Learning Outcomes Assessment System.” The session brought together heads of academic departments and their deputies from various faculties across the university.
Dr. Samir Al-Asbahi, Dean of the Center, stated that the training is part of the university’s broader strategy to enhance educational quality and strengthen internal evaluation mechanisms. He emphasized that the initiative is designed to build participants’ capacity in implementing the university’s newly developed system for assessing learning outcomes—an essential component of its academic quality assurance and accreditation efforts.
The session was led by Dr. Abdulraqib Ghalib, Dean of Faculty of Engineering, who presented an overview of the system’s structure and its role in supporting institutional assessment processes. He also demonstrated its practical applications for tracking and documenting learning outcomes across academic programs.
At the conclusion of the session, participants expressed their appreciation to the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center for organizing the program, underscoring the importance of continuing such initiatives to foster a culture of quality and institutionalize academic accreditation standards across the university.
