Al-Janad University for Science and Technology on Friday organized a workshop for its advisory committee as part of ongoing efforts to review and update the Pharmacy Program, in line with labor market needs and national accreditation and quality standards.
The workshop aimed to conduct a periodic evaluation of the program’s academic documentation and curricula, ensuring they keep pace with rapid developments in the healthcare sector and the pharmaceutical job market, while improving learning outcomes in pharmacy education.
The event saw broad participation from employers, government-sector representatives, program graduates, current students, and faculty members, reflecting the university’s collaborative approach to academic program development.
The workshop concluded with a set of development proposals intended to modernize the Pharmacy Program, enhance graduate competencies, and strengthen their readiness to integrate effectively into the labor market and contribute to the healthcare sector.
