An Open discussion of UG graduation projects takes place in the Department of Civil Engineering

The College of Engineering and Information Technology at the University held an open examination for graduation projects conducted by group of students from the Department of Civil Engineering for the academic year 2022-2023

The projects presented by the students received praise from the discussion committee. The titles of the projects were as follows

- Recycling of damaged concrete resulting from demolition and war destruction for reuse as coarse aggregate in concrete production
- Evaluation and rehabilitation of a two-story concrete building to support an additional four-story building
- Design of a seismic-resistant tourist hotel in Taiz city

The discussion was attended by Dr. Abdul Karim Al-Qadri, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, Dr. Bashir Al-Tayar, Head of the Information Technology Department, Dr. Marwan Al-Asali, Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department, and Dr. Ismail Al-Shamiri, External Examiner. Engineer Ammar Al-Ahdal, Director of Al Janad Research and Engineering Consultancy Center was also present
