University Organizes Workshop on Ensuring Quality in University Laboratories

Under the auspices of university president Dr. Mohyeddine Al-Qobbati, the Development and Quality Assurance Center at University organized a significant workshop for lecturers and technicians in the laboratories on the "Quality Assurance System in University Laboratories

During the workshop, Dr. Al-Qobati emphasized the workshop's importance as well as the university's  commitment to ensuring the highest standards in laboratory settings. Recognizing the crucial role of practical training in the educational process, the university aims to provide a suitable and stimulating environment for both students and faculty

Dr. Sameer Al-Asbahi, the dean of the Development and Quality assurance Center, underscored the workshop's role in disseminating a culture of quality among technical and assistant staff. This collaborative effort is considered a key contributing factor in achieving laboratory excellence and obtaining international accreditation

The workshop aimed to enhance the understanding and implementation of quality standards within the university's laboratory facilities and familiarize participants with the fundamental concepts of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), providing them with practical training on such systems. Additionally, the workshop facilitated a thorough review of previous laboratory evaluations, enabling attendees to identify areas for improvement and implement effective measures accordingly
