University Hosts Scientific Debate on Inheritance Jurisprudence

The Department of Sharia and Law at the College of Administrative Sciences and Humanities recently organized a scientific debate on inheritance jurisprudence (Fiqh al-Mawarith) between third-year students from the Department and the Department of Islamic Studies at the College of Arts,Taiz University.

The debate showcased strong competition among the participants from both Universities, with both teams scoring the full marks. This activity reflected the outstanding academic level of the participants, receiving praise from the judging committee, comprised of well-known academics and specialists in the field.

The activity aimed to enhance the students' academic level, broaden their knowledge, benefit from the judging committee, expand students' network of relationships, exchange skills and abilities, and promote mutual benefits.

The debate was attended by Dr. Ali Hamid, the Head of the Department of Islamic Studies at Taiz University, Dr. Muath Al-Hasani, the Coordinator of the Department of Sharia and Law at Al Janad university, and Mr. Mohammed Al-Amri, the Director of Public Relations at Al Janad university.
