Al Janad University Makes Remarkable Leap in Webometrics Ranking, Surpassing a number of Local Universities

Al Janad University for Science and Technology achieved significant progress in the Global Webometrics Ranking of Universities, surpassing more than twenty local Universities in certain standards and improving its position in other standards. It obtained the 13th rank among Universities in the standard of transparency and openness, while ranking the 26th position in the excellence standard. In the impact standard, it achieved the 34th position.

On a global level, the University advanced over 1,700 places among World Universities compared to the previous ranking issued in July 2023, within the evaluation conducted by the Spanish National Research Council, which is one of the most famous and widely spread Global Rankings.

The University indexed in the AD Scientific Index Ranking, joining only 22 Yemeni Universities in this ranking. It is an evaluative system for Journals and Universities, different from other evaluation systems as it is a ranking and analysis system based on scientific production and the added value of scientific productivity for researchers.

The University also made its initial acceptance into THE (Times Higher Education) ranking, which is a ranking of Global Universities published by Times Higher Education Journal.

These indicators reflect the outstanding development efforts of the University through its leadership, academic, and administrative staff at various levels, despite its recent establishment. This indicates a bright future awaiting the university and its members, crowning the efforts of everyone involved.
