The Medical Laboratories Department at the University has inaugurated a summer program tailored for students in the medical laboratories department and related fields. The program is held under the auspices of the College of Medical Sciences Dean, Dr Mansour Al-Kholidi, and brings together participants from various medical departments within the university and other universities.
Comprising three training courses, the program covers several topics including laboratory test result concordance, errors in laboratory test results, and OTC emergency drugs. The program's duration is set for one week.
During today's session, the focus was on understanding normal laboratory test rates, result interpretation, and how these findings relate to other departments' laboratory results. Dr. Rahma Al-Joubani led the session.
The primary goal of the program is to enrich participating students' knowledge in the specified areas and equip them with essential skills to stand out in the competitive job market.
