The Deanship of Student Affairs at Aljanad University has launched its welcoming events for the 2024-2025 academic year, beginning with the new students of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology. The event, held under the auspices of university president Dr. Mohyeddine Al-Qubati, marked the start of the new academic journey for these students.

The event commenced with an introductory meeting led by the leadership of the College of Engineering, headed by Dr. Abdulraqeeb Ghalib, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, alongside the heads of academic departments. Dr. Ghalib welcomed the new students, wishing them success and prosperity throughout their university journey.

Faculty members from the College of Engineering provided valuable tips and guidance to help students maximize their university experience during the academic year.

Dr. Ameen Al-Haidari, the Secretary-General, conducted a training session on university life, emphasizing the importance of this phase in shaping students' futures. He highlighted the potential of youth and their significant contributions to society and the nation. Dr. Al-Haidari also stressed the importance of participating in university activities to develop personalities and enhance skills in various fields.

The program included several introductory sessions on university regulations. Engineer Ali Al-Atari, Director of Admissions and Registration, presented an overview of academic regulations, while Mr. Issam Masoud, Financial Manager, explained the financial regulations. The event concluded with a session by Mr. Emad Al-Buraihi, Director of Student Affairs, who addressed student regulations and answered questions.

Welcoming events will continue tomorrow with the reception of new students from the College of Medical Sciences.
