Pharmacy Department Organizes Scientific Symposium on Healthcare Quality

    In celebration of World Pharmacists Day, the Pharmacy Department at the Faculty of Medical Sciences organized a Scientific Symposium on the Role of Pharmacists in Improving Healthcare Quality accompanying a scientific and artistic exhibition. The event was held under the auspices of the university president, Dr.Mohyeddine Al-Qubati, and featured the participation of a distinguished group of academics and specialists.

    In the opening address of the symposium, Dr. Mansour Al-Kholidi, Dean of the  Faculty of Medical Sciences, welcomed the esteemed guests, including participants presenting scientific papers and the attendees.

    Representing the Pharmacists Syndicate, Dr. Ismail Al-Khailee, the Pharmacists Syndicate President of Taiz Governorate, and Dr. Seham Malhi, the Drug Vigilance Coordinator of the governorate, participated in the symposium.

    Dr. Bassam Al-Shaibani presented a scientific paper titled "The Impact of Artificial Intelligence in Pharmacy," while Dr. Shadi Ahmed, a faculty member at the university, presented a paper on "The Role of Pharmaceutical Care in Enhancing Public Health and Quality of Life."

    On the sidelines of the symposium, a scientific and artistic exhibition was held by the Pharmacy Department. The exhibition showcased various medicinal drugs, pharmaceutical forms, over-the-counter (OTC) medications, and educational content that included pharmaceutical guidelines.
