Dentistry Department Organizes Scientific Lecture on Maxillofacial Surgery

The Department of Dentistry at Aljanad University organized a scientific lecture on Thursday as part of its ongoing series of academic meetings. The lecture, titled "Maxillofacial Firearm Injuries (Surgical Management)," was conducted under the auspices of the Dean of the College of Medical Sciences.

Dr. Mohammed Qahawish, a faculty member at the university, delivered the lecture, focusing on war-related injuries to the face and jaws. He emphasized the importance of precise clinical diagnosis and the use of essential diagnostic tools for identifying such injuries. Dr. Qahawish also discussed various approaches for managing these complex cases.

He praised the university's initiative to organize these scientific meetings and events on critical topics, especially considering the shortage of specialists in the field. Dr. Qahawish highlighted the benefits for students and participants in enhancing their knowledge and advancing scientific research.

The event saw the attendance of Dr. Adel Al-Adimi, Head of the Dentistry Department at the university, along with several specialists and teaching assistants. Additionally, 150 dental students from Aljanad University and other universities participated in the lecture.
