The Department of Dentistry at the University organized a scientific lecture as part of a series of academic meetings hosted by the college and department, under the auspices of the Dean of the College of Medical Sciences. This is the second lecture on this important topic this month, titled "Maxillofacial War Injuries."

Dr. Mohammed Qahawish, a faculty member at the department, delivered the lecture, focusing on war-related injuries to the face and jaws. He emphasized the importance of precise clinical diagnosis and essential diagnostic tools for identifying these cases, and discussed possible methods for managing such injuries.

Dr. Qahawish commended the university's initiative to organize these significant scientific events, particularly given the scarcity of specialists in this field. He highlighted the benefits for students and participants in enhancing their knowledge and promoting scientific research.

The lecture was attended by Dr. Fawzi Al-Dahbali, Deputy Director of the Republican Hospital for Academic Affairs, Dr. Khaldoun Al-Buraihi, Head of the Dentistry Department at the University of Science and Technology, along with a distinguished group of assistants and specialists in the field of dentistry.
