    In a significant move to enhance the quality of academic education and develop its programs, the Deanship of Academic Affairs at the university has launched a self-evaluation project for its academic programs. This initiative, part of Quality Week activities, was inaugurated under the auspices of University President Dr. Mohyeddine Al-Qubati.

    Dr. Abdulqawi Noman, Dean of Academic Affairs, opened the event by emphasizing the project's critical role in improving educational standards and applying academic benchmarks. He warmly welcomed the University President and all participants, underscoring the importance of their involvement.

    Dr. Noman highlighted the significance of self-study, explaining the methodologies for conducting self-evaluations, addressing challenges, and writing comprehensive self-study reports. He also detailed the steps and procedures required to achieve academic accreditation.

    The project aims to foster a culture of quality and attain academic accreditation through a thorough self-evaluation of academic programs. This initiative is designed to enhance academic performance and increase the efficiency of educational outcomes, aligning with the university's vision of achieving excellence in higher education.

    The launch event was attended by the University President, several deans, unit heads, and academic department chairs. They expressed their strong commitment to the project, recognizing their essential role in the continuous improvement and development of the educational environment.
