Sharia and Law Students Engage in Thrilling Academic Debate with Taiz University

    Department of Sharia and Law at the university organized an academic debate between its students and the students of the Islamic Studies Department at the Faculty of Arts, Taiz University. This event, held under the auspices of the Deanship of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Humanities, featured intense competition and showcased the excellent academic level of participants from both departments.

    Taiz University team emerged victorious by a narrow margin of one point. The judging panel, consisting of academics and specialists in Sharia and Law, commended the high level of performance exhibited by both teams.

    The debate aimed to enhance students' academic levels, broaden their knowledge, and allow them to benefit from the judging panel's expertise. Additionally, it sought to foster relationships among students and facilitate the exchange of skills and abilities.

    The event was attended by prominent university figures, including Dr. Ameen Al-Haidari, Secretary General, Dr. Mohammed Al-Salmi, Head of the Department of Sharia and Law, Dr. Ali Hameed, Head of the Department of Islamic Studies at Taiz University, and Dr. Moath Al-Maqtari, Head of the Department of Accounting and Finance.
