The Development and Quality Assurance Center concluded the activities of Quality Week with a training session this morning titled "Experiences in Applying the Kaizen Strategy in University Education." The session was presented by Dr. Samir Osman Al-Asbahi, the Dean of the Center, under the auspices of University President Dr. Mohyeddine Al-Qubati.

During the course, Dr. Al-Asbahi discussed the concepts of the Kaizen strategy, its advantages, the reasons for its application, and the challenges of implementing it within universities. He also reviewed past experiences and the anticipated benefits of adopting this strategy.

The course's primary aim was to disseminate a culture of quality within the university community, familiarize attendees with the Kaizen strategy, and encourage staff to apply this method in their work. Kaizen, which means continuous improvement, emphasizes cooperation and participation for ongoing progress.

Quality Week, held under the slogan "Together Towards Continuous Improvement," showcased the university's dedication to enhancing the quality of education, improving institutional performance, and achieving academic accreditation. The activities coincided with World Quality Day, observed on the second Thursday of November each year.
