The Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance Council for Higher Education visited Al Janad University for Science and Technology. This visit marked the culmination of the university's Quality Week, an initiative led by University President Dr. Mohyeddine Al-Qubati aimed at enhancing quality standards, academic accreditation, and improving both academic and administrative performance.
The visiting team, led by Professor Dr. Sawsan Ba-Khabira, Chairperson of the Academic Accreditation Council, included prominent council members: Professor Dr. Abdulraqib Al-Samawi, Professor Dr. Huda Omar Salem Baslim, Professor Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al-Subaihi, Professor Dr. Anisa Dukam, Professor Dr. Al-Ezi Al-Bora'i, and Professor Dr. Nadia Salam. The delegation was warmly received by the university leadership.
Dr. Mohyeddine Al-Qubati welcomed the delegation, expressing his delight at the visit, which he noted as a testament to the university's commitment to quality standards and academic accreditation. He stated, "This visit underscores our dedication to adhering to quality standards and continuous development to strengthen the university's role as a distinguished academic institution."
Professor Sawsan Bakhabira lauded the progress and rapid steps taken by Al-Janad University in implementing quality and academic accreditation standards. She praised the exceptional staff for their dedication to ongoing development and the university's commitment to elevating education standards and developing programs that meet labor market and community needs.
Dr. Abdulqawi Noman, Dean of Academic Affairs, presented an overview of the university's efforts and achievements in implementing quality and academic accreditation standards. His presentation, which included a visual display by the Media Unit, highlighted the significant milestones reached in recent years.
The delegation reviewed documents and literature related to the university's academic programs, including master's programs and guides. They also toured several university facilities, praising the infrastructure and the swift progress achieved by Al-Janad University in a short period.
Quality Week activities at the university featured seminars and interactive workshops focused on the concepts of quality in higher education, as well as evaluations of institutional and academic performance based on local standards.
