Department of Therapeutic Nutrition at the College of Medical Sciences organized a series of presentations for interns as part of their internship program. This initiative is aimed at developing the skills of trainees and preparing them to meet the demands of the modern job market.
The program is designed to equip trainees with essential skills for the modern workplace. Key focus areas include enhancing effective communication skills with the public, encouraging discussions on current topics in the field of nutrition, and building self-confidence. Additionally, the program guides trainees on researching credible sources to provide accurate and reliable information in their field.
Dr. Mansour Al-Kholidi, Dean of the College of Medical Sciences, emphasized the importance of the activity in enhancing students' understanding of diseases and the impact of functional foods on them. He pointed out that the activity is not just an opportunity to present information but also a platform for exchanging ideas and experiences among students, which enhances their ability to handle different cases in the future.
