As part of efforts to enhance academic standards and promote research initiatives, students from the university's Medical Laboratory Department organized a session to showcase the progress achieved in their graduation projects. The session included discussions of their scientific ideas and the stages they have completed so far. The research topics demonstrated significant diversity, addressing critical scientific issues that serve the community and contribute to advancing knowledge.

Among the studies discussed was one supervised by Dr. Ayman Al-Qadsi, which evaluated bacterial contamination in ice used for drinking water in Taiz Governorate, Yemen. The study focused on analyzing contamination levels and their impact on public health.

Another project, titled Green Synthesis of Silver Nanoparticles Using Khawaa Extract: Evaluation of Antibacterial Activity and Cytotoxicity, supervised by Dr. Ansam Al-Shamiri, highlighted the potential of environmentally friendly methods in developing innovative nanotechnology applications.

Additionally, the session featured research titled Platelet Indices and Type 2 Diabetes, supervised by Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi. This study aimed to explore the relationship between platelet indices and health changes associated with diabetes.

These scientific endeavors are part of the requirements for research completion during the 2024–2025 academic year. The students are working diligently to achieve accomplishments that benefit society and contribute to the advancement of scientific research.
