Nursing Department Holds Scientific Lecture on Antibiotics

Nursing Department, under the auspices of Faculty of Medical Sciences, organized a scientific lecture titled "Antibiotics in Nursing." The session was presented by Dr. Shadi Al-Amari, Head of the Pharma D Department, who provided an in-depth discussion on the role of antibiotics in nursing practice.

The lecture aimed to enhance students' knowledge of antibiotics, focusing on their proper use, pharmacological effects, and essential nursing considerations when administering them to patients. Dr. Al-Amari also explained the mechanism of action of antibiotics and the importance of selecting the appropriate type for different age groups to ensure safe and effective patient care.
