Department of English and Translation hosted today an open defense of a graduation research project presented by a group of students from the Department. The study is titled:
“The Role of Mobile Translation Apps in Overcoming English Language Barriers for First-Year Students at the Faculty of Medical Sciences.”
The project was supervised by the Head of the Department, Dr. Abdalwahid Noman, and examined by Dr. Najeeb Taher, in the presence of faculty members and students from the department.
This research forms part of the department’s ongoing efforts to promote applied learning in graduation projects. It stands as a testament to the students’ awareness of the role modern technology plays in supporting language acquisition, while also reflecting the department’s commitment to aligning academic outcomes with students’ real-world needs and challenges.
