Al-Janad University for Science and Technology on Wednesday organized competitive examination for its recently announced scholarship program, under the auspices of University President Prof. Mohyeddine Al-Qubati.
This year, more than 390 high school graduates competed for 60 full and partial scholarships across the university’s diverse academic programs. The initiative forms part of (Al-Janad Elites 2), a program designed to support academically outstanding students and prepare them for the labor market through targeted scholarships and specialized training opportunities.
During an inspection tour of the examination halls, Dr. Mansour Al-Khalidi, Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, emphasized the significance of this unique opportunity, which enables students to pursue a promising academic and professional future. He noted that the university places strong emphasis on community service and quality education, highlighting that the scholarships serve as a beacon of hope for students whose financial circumstances may otherwise prevent them from completing higher education.
He further encouraged candidates to demonstrate their merit through strong performance in the competitive exams.
Results are scheduled to be announced later today on the university’s official website, with scholarships allocated according to the available programs and disciplines.
Al-Janad University has made its scholarship initiative an annual tradition, reflecting its commitment to supporting outstanding students and enhancing the overall quality of higher education.
