Al-Janad University for Science and Technology continued its “Winners” graduation festivities with a special ceremony hosted by the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, celebrating the graduation of its fourth cohort across the departments of Architecture, Mechatronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Interior Design. The event was held under the auspices of University President Prof. Mohyeddine Al-Qubati.
The ceremony coincided with Yemen’s national celebrations of the September 26 Revolution, blending patriotic pride with academic achievement. The event highlighted the determination and ambition of graduates, as well as their sense of belonging and responsibility toward their country.
In his remarks, University Secretary-General Dr. Ameen Al-Haidari congratulated the graduates and their families, commending their perseverance and accomplishments. He noted that the alignment of the ceremony with the national holiday added special meaning to the occasion, reinforcing the vital role of youth in shaping Yemen’s future.
Al-Haidari also emphasized the university’s longstanding tradition of organizing and supporting graduation ceremonies across all colleges and departments as part of its commitment to students and their families, particularly in light of the country’s challenging economic circumstances.
The celebration drew wide attendance from faculty members, parents, and students, and featured patriotic performances, artistic presentations, and documentary videos capturing the cohort’s academic journey.
The event concluded with the honoring of top graduates from each department, who received certificates of appreciation and symbolic gifts, followed by recognition of all graduates in a festive and spirited atmosphere.
The “Winners” graduation celebrations will continue Thursday with the Faculty of Medical Sciences honoring graduates from Pharmacy, Medical Laboratories, and Nursing, and will conclude on Saturday with the remaining medical departments.
