Al-Janad University for Science and Technology held a graduation ceremony today for the “Winners” cohort from the Faculty of Medical Sciences, covering the departments of Pharmacy, Medical Laboratories, and Nursing. The event, held under the auspices of University President Prof. Mohyeddine Al-Qubati, coincided with Yemen’s 63rd National Day of the September 26 Revolution.

In his address, Dean for Academic Affairs Prof. Abdulqawi Noman congratulated the graduates and their families, describing their achievement as a source of pride for the nation. He highlighted the importance of medical disciplines in meeting the demands of both local and regional labor markets.

“Education is the cornerstone of any renaissance,” Noman said. “Nations are built through the minds of their youth and their dedication to science and work. While buildings can be rebuilt and resources restored, it is human intellect that remains unconquerable and forms the true foundation of progress.”

The ceremony featured the graduates’ recitation of the medical oath, led by Faculty Dean Dr. Mansour Al-Kholidi, alongside a national operetta, artistic performances, and documentary videos capturing the cohort’s academic journey.

This event is part of a week-long series of “Winners” graduation celebrations across various faculties. The festivities will conclude on Saturday with the graduation of students from the Departments of Dentistry and Therapeutic Nutrition.

The ceremony was attended by senior academic figures, institutional leaders, parents, and students, adding to the celebratory and national spirit of the occasion.
