Al-Janad University for Science and Technology held a welcoming ceremony on Wednesday for new students enrolled in the Faculty of Medical Sciences for the 2025–2026 academic year. The event, organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs under the auspices of University President Prof. Mohyeddine Al-Qubati, marked the beginning of the academic journey for hundreds of incoming students.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Mansour Al-Kholidi, Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, congratulated the new students and encouraged them to pursue excellence through dedication and active engagement in the university’s academic and professional programs. He reaffirmed the faculty’s commitment to supporting students with a high-quality learning environment and continuous academic guidance.
Dr. Ameen Al-Haidari, Secretary-General of the University, delivered an orientation lecture introducing the university’s academic services, student activities, and development opportunities. He emphasized that university life represents a crucial stage for building students’ futures and shaping their personal and professional growth.
Meanwhile, Prof. Samir Al-Asbahi, Dean of the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center, highlighted the importance of maintaining academic quality and standards to enhance the employability of graduates and align the university’s outcomes with labor market needs.
The event concluded with information sessions led by university staff, covering electronic services, registration procedures, financial aid, and academic advising. The orientation aimed to help new students integrate smoothly into university life and begin their studies with confidence.
