Al-Janad University for Science and Technology concluded its orientation week for the 2025–2026 academic year with a welcoming event organized by Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Humanities under the auspices of University President Prof. Mohyeddine Al-Qubati.
The closing ceremony brought together university leaders, faculty members, and students in a lively atmosphere celebrating the arrival of a new cohort. The event marked the official start of the new academic year, reflecting the university’s commitment to providing students with an engaging and supportive educational environment.
Dean of Faculty, Dr. Gamil Zaid, welcomed the newcomers, emphasizing the university’s mission to prepare students with the skills and knowledge needed for a competitive job market. He encouraged students to make the most of the opportunities offered through academic programs and extracurricular activities.
Murad Alaiah, Head of Student Guidance, explained that the orientation program was designed to help students understand university regulations and integrate smoothly into campus life. He noted that the Student Guidance Department will continue supporting students throughout their academic journey.
During the event, Dr. Ameen Al-Haidari, Secretary-General of University, presented an overview of available student services and activities, stressing that university life is not limited to academics but also focuses on developing well-rounded and socially responsible individuals.
Prof. Samir Al-Asbahi, Dean of the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center, delivered an awareness lecture on the importance of quality standards in higher education, describing them as key to ensuring successful and competitive graduates.
The event concluded with interactive sessions on electronic registration, academic services, and financial support, followed by open discussions where students shared questions and received guidance from faculty members—setting a positive and confident tone for the start of their university journey.
