As part of the Scientific Week organized by the Faculty of Medical Sciences under the auspices of the University President, Dr Mohyeddine Al-Qubati, the faculty held a specialized training workshop titled “Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Medical Sciences,” presented by Dr. Bilal Al-Samie.
The workshop explored key concepts and emerging technologies in artificial intelligence, with a focus on its practical applications in the medical field. It highlighted a range of AI-based tools and platforms that can be utilized across different medical specialties to enhance efficiency, improve diagnostic accuracy, and support effective treatment planning.
Additionally, the session discussed the ethical considerations and challenges surrounding the use of AI in healthcare, emphasizing the importance of awareness, responsibility, and adherence to professional ethics to ensure that modern technologies contribute to advancing medical practice and delivering more precise and high-quality patient care.
