University Pharmacy Department Welcomes New Academics

The Pharmacy Department at the Faculty of Medical Sciences at the university held a welcome event to mark the appointment of Dr. Helmi Al-Hakimi and Dr. Muadh Abdulmalik to its academic staff, alongside Dr. Haya Abdulilah—a move the faculty said reflects its commitment to strengthening its academic workforce and raising the standard of teaching and learning.

The event was attended by Dr. Mansour Al-Kholaidi, Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences; Dr. Mujib Al-Hassami, Head of the Pharmacy Department; and Eng. Walid Al-Jaour, Human Resources Director, as well as a number of academics. Speakers welcomed the new staff members and stressed the importance of attracting highly qualified specialists to support the development of academic programmes.

The dean said the appointments of Dr. Al-Hakimi and Dr. Abdulmalik represent a valuable addition to the department, helping to enhance both teaching and research and supporting the university’s vision of graduating well-qualified professionals capable of meeting the needs of the healthcare labour market.
