Excellence Students Secondary School in Taiz hosted a strategic planning workshop on Thursday, with support from Al-Janad University for Science and Technology, bringing together a distinguished group of academics and experts from Yemen, Malaysia, Kuwait, and Jordan in an effort to advance educational quality and promote modern planning practices.
The workshop focused on contemporary educational approaches and how to turn them into actionable programs and initiatives, supporting a shift from traditional teaching methods toward models that emphasize critical thinking, creativity, and skills development, while enhancing overall learning outcomes.
The initiative was commended by Abdulwasea Shaddad, Director-General of the Education Office in the governorate, along with Mahmoud Abdulqader, Director of Education in Al-Qahira District, both of whom underscored its significance in strengthening ongoing efforts to improve the quality of education across the region.
Mohyeddine Al-Qubati, President of Al-Janad University, said the university’s support reflects its commitment to advancing educational institutions, noting that “strategic planning is the cornerstone of any meaningful and sustainable progress in education, and investing in human capital remains the most effective pathway to development.”
At the conclusion of the workshop, the school’s administration expressed its appreciation to Al-Janad University and all participants, reaffirming its commitment to becoming a leading model for quality education in the governorate.
