Nursing Research Explores Psychological Preparedness and Occupational Stress

    The Department of Nursing at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Al-Janad University for Science and Technology, today held the open defence of the second group’s undergraduate research project, titled "Assessment of the Level of Psychological Preparedness of Nurses in Dealing with Patient Death and Its Impact on Occupational Stress.”

    The study explored the importance of psychological preparedness among nurses when coping with patient deaths and examined its influence on occupational stress and professional performance in healthcare settings.

    The research was supervised by Dr. Mansour Saeed Al-Khalidi, Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, and Dr. Dhaifallah Al-Rumaimah. The examination committee also included Dr. Ansam Al-Shamiri as examiner. Following the presentation, the committee commended the research and offered a number of academic observations and recommendations aimed at strengthening the study and enhancing the practical application of its findings in nursing practice.
