The Deanship of Academic Affairs, in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, today organized a workshop to review and discuss the Program Self-Assessment Report for the Information Technology Program as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to enhance academic quality and improve learning outcomes in line with academic accreditation standards.
The workshop was attended by Dr. Abdulraqib Ghalib, Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Abdullah Al-Asbahi, serving as the internal reviewer; Dr. Basheer Al-Tayyar, Program Coordinator; and members of the program’s self-assessment committee.
Participants reviewed the findings of the self-assessment study, evaluated the program’s compliance with quality standards, identified key strengths and opportunities for improvement, and discussed a number of recommendations aimed at further enhancing the program’s academic performance, meeting labour market needs, and advancing the quality of education.
