Under the auspices of the Secretary-General of University, the Human Resources Department concluded a week-long specialized training program titled "Data Security and Information Protection." The program was delivered by the Al-Janad Center for Training and Skills Development and brought together members of the University's academic and administrative staff.
The training aimed to strengthen participants' knowledge and skills in information security and data protection, enhance awareness of cybersecurity risks, and promote best practices for the secure handling of digital information, thereby contributing to a more secure institutional environment and improved administrative and academic performance.
The program was delivered by Eng. Aseel Al-Maamari, who covered key topics including cybersecurity fundamentals, data protection principles, and best practices for safeguarding the confidentiality and integrity of information within higher education institutions.
The program concluded with a certificate presentation ceremony honoring the participants, attended by Dr. Ameen Al-Haidari, Secretary-General of the University, and Dr. Bashir Al-Yousifi, Director of the Al-Janad Center for Training and Skills Development. Both officials underscored the importance of specialized professional development programs in enhancing staff capabilities and keeping pace with evolving technological advancements.
