Al-Janad Launches Graduation Celebrations for Fifth “Future Makers” Cohort

Al-Janad University for Science and Technology today launched its graduation celebrations for the fifth cohort, “Future Makers,” under the auspices of Prof. Mohyeddine Al-Qubati, President of the University. The celebration took place in a festive national atmosphere, coinciding with preparations for Yemen’s 26 September National Day.

The event marked the graduation of more than 100 students from the Dentsry, Medical Laboratory Sciences, and Nursing programs at the Faculty of Medical Sciences. It also marked the beginning of a week-long series of graduation celebrations covering the university’s various faculties and departments.

In his address, Prof. Mohyeddine Al-Qubati, President of Al-Janad University, congratulated the graduates and their families on their well-deserved academic achievement, commending their dedication and perseverance throughout their years of study. He reaffirmed the university’s continued pursuit of academic excellence and leadership and its commitment to preparing qualified professionals equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to serve society and contribute to national development. He wished the graduates a successful and fulfilling professional future.

The celebration featured a range of artistic and cultural performances by young talents from Taiz, as well as video presentations documenting key moments and memories from the cohort’s university journey. The event also featured a patriotic musical performance celebrating national identity, pride in Yemen, and the enduring legacy of the national revolution.

Graduate Hisham Al-Ziyadi delivered the cohort’s address, expressing the graduates’ pride and gratitude on this memorable occasion and thanking the university administration, faculty members, and parents for their continued support throughout their years of study.

The graduates also took the medical oath, administered by Dr. Mansour Al-Kholidi, Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, pledging to uphold the professional, ethical, and humanitarian values of the healthcare profession and to fulfill their responsibilities toward patients and the wider community.

The ceremony concluded with the honoring of the cohort’s top-performing students and graduates. Graduation certificates and recognition shields were presented to outstanding graduates, followed by commemorative photographs capturing the special occasion.

The ceremony was attended by university leadership, a number of local authority officials, academics, prominent community figures, and a large gathering of parents and guests who joined the graduates in celebrating this important milestone.
